Während sich die Zahl der Knols langsam, aber stetig erhöht (die deutschsprachigen Beiträge haben inzwischen die Schwelle von 1000 überschritten), arbeiten die Google-Entwickler weiter an der Plattform. Die Releases der letzten Wochen tragen die Namen von Hunderassen wie Husky, Westie oder Beagle.
Insbesondere das Beagle-Release vom 17.9. bringt eine Menge Neuheiten:
- Die Unterstützung weiterer Sprachen: Neben Englisch nun auch offiziell Koreanisch , Spanisch und Portugiesisch .
- E-Mail-Bennachrichtigung: Wenn jemand einen Proposal for a Knol has or makes a meeting, the author will now automatically notified by e-mail.
